Easter week timetable

Please see below our timetable for the Easter weekend.

  • 16th April: no classes in Ashford
  • 17th April: classes as normal in Canterbury
  • 18th April: classes as normal in Staplehurst (Village Centre – holidays times)
  • 19th April: no classes in Maidstone
  • 20th April: classes as normal in Broomfield (no classes on 13th April)
  • 21st April: no classes in Canterbury

All other classes before and after the Easter weekend are as normal.

 

 

STAPLEHURST CLASSES

11th & 18th April: Staplehurst Village Centre (North Hall)

4:00pm – Mighty Matts & Juniors

4:45pm – Seniors

5:30pm – Black Belt class

Broomfield classes – April

For all students who attend our Broomfield classes please make a note of the following schedule for April:

  • 13th April: no classes
  • 6th, 20th & 27th April; all classes as normal

Please could you let either Mr Hinder or Mr Levermore know if you are not able to attend – particularly the Easter weekend classes.

Tag-testing starts soon

In preparation for the upcoming Gradings we will start tag-testing for all students from Sunday, 3rd March onward.

For your diaries:

GRADING DAY: 24th March 2019 (Canterbury)

  • Mighty Matts: 0930hrs
  • Juniors & Adults: 1015hrs
  • Panel Grading: 1200hrs

As always, there is never any rush and we will only tag students when we believe the time is right and they are confident and ready to be put forward.  The next available colour-belt Grading Day is Sunday, 16th June.

The tracksuit consists of trousers and top with logos and is great quality too.  They come in a whole range of sizes and so are available for all age groups.

NEW – Championship team training

NEW FOR 2019 – Team Training

For 2019 we will be providing extra championship training for those students wishing to be part of the MF Kent Team.  This will be open to all age groups and to any student committed to furthering their championship skills and experiences.

The extra training will run on a Sunday from 10am – 12pm and will cost £5 per person.

Simply login into the student section of the MF Kent website to see all of the dates etc:

  1. Login in to www.mattfiddeskent.com
  2. Click on the drop-down menu & select “Championships”
  3. Select “2019 Championship Team Training”

ALSO NEW FOR 2019 – we will be releasing details very soon of a new MF Kent Team tracksuit so watch this space!

Christmas Shut-down

We would like to remind all students and parents of our Christmas schedule:

  • Last classes of 2018 will be Friday, 21st December 2018
  • First classes of 2019 will be Thursday, 3rd January 2019

There will be no classes at any of our venues between these dates.

On behalf of the MF Kent Team we would like to wish you all a wonderful festive period and New Year.

Belt presentations – congratulations!

Firstly, a huge well done to everyone that took part in Sunday’s Grading.  It was such a positive day for the MF Kent School and each and everyone of you deserve a big pat on the back for working so hard and doing your very best.

We are very excited to be able to present new belts and certificates in all classes this week.  Feel free to bring along your families and friends and don’t forget your cameras.
