FOR THE ATTENTION OF OUR SENIOR CLASS (6:30-7:30pm)
 
Due to the mix-up at the school last Thursday we have organised that your class will be extended for the next two Thursdays. Your class timetable will be:
 
Thursday, 31st Jan: 6:30 – 8:00pm
Thursday, 7th Feb: 6:30-8:00pm
Thursday, 14th onwards: normal time
 
For those students in the Black Belt Club your timetable will be:
 
Thursday, 31st Jan: 8:00-8:45pm
Thursday, 7th Feb: 8:00-8:45pm
Thursday, 14th Feb: 7:30-9:00pm

NEW – Team Tracksuit

NEW for 2019 – MF Kent Team Tracksuit

We are delighted to launch a brand new MF Kent Team tracksuit which looks really smart and certainly stands out from the crowd.

The tracksuit consists of trousers and top with logos and is great quality too.  They come in a whole range of sizes and so are available for all age groups.

You can either order the whole tracksuit or each individual part:

  • Whole tracksuit: £60
  • Top only: £40
  • Trousers only: £40

NEW – Championship team training

NEW FOR 2019 – Team Training

For 2019 we will be providing extra championship training for those students wishing to be part of the MF Kent Team.  This will be open to all age groups and to any student committed to furthering their championship skills and experiences.

The extra training will run on a Sunday from 10am – 12pm and will cost £5 per person.

Simply login into the student section of the MF Kent website to see all of the dates etc:

  1. Login in to www.mattfiddeskent.com
  2. Click on the drop-down menu & select “Championships”
  3. Select “2019 Championship Team Training”

ALSO NEW FOR 2019 – we will be releasing details very soon of a new MF Kent Team tracksuit so watch this space!

Christmas Shut-down

We would like to remind all students and parents of our Christmas schedule:

  • Last classes of 2018 will be Friday, 21st December 2018
  • First classes of 2019 will be Thursday, 3rd January 2019

There will be no classes at any of our venues between these dates.

Belt presentations – congratulations!

Firstly, a huge well done to everyone that took part in Sunday’s Grading.  It was such a positive day for the MF Kent School and each and everyone of you deserve a big pat on the back for working so hard and doing your very best.

Congratulations to the MF Kent Team

The 2018 MF British Championships were certainly a day to remember.  It was the largest competition ever for the MF Group and the excitement, tension and standard was very high indeed.

Our intrepid team ventured to Swindon having dedicated a great deal of time and effort to their training.  Simply to enter and compete takes a great deal of courage.  All of them are winners!

We had tears, laughter, highs and lows but with over 600 competitors it was always going to be a tough day.  We put in some exceptional performances and they can all be very proud of how they performed.

Here was the team:

  • Hugo Ross-Phillips (1 x silver: Wavemaster)
  • Jack Calvert (1 x silver: Extreme Kicking)
  • John Boon (1 x silver: Forms)
  • Josh Boon
  • Evie-Sue Lewis (1 x Gold: Kick-boxing drill)
  • Millie-Rose Hinder

None of their success would be possible without the incredible dedication of our team of Instructors, families and friends who all came along to support and cheer the team on.  Thank you one and all for helping to create a superb atmosphere for everyone.

Goodluck to the MF Kent Team

On Saturday, 10th November our small but determined team of students and Instructors head to Swindon for the British Championships.

On behalf of everyone here in Kent – GOODLUCK!  It will be a very exciting day with 600 competitors from across the UK and we look forward to watching you in action.
